Karla is on MySpace!
I know, I thought I'd never do it, but: YES! Its me! I figured it MIGHT just help Drag Queens and Night Spots to "get the word out" regarding their shows and pageants, by creating a little place on MySpace! So far its worked. By the way, I only made it today. I'm kind of a hardcore "techie," so the whole thing was new and different, LOL. It, kind of, just DOES stuff by itself with NO special web design experience required, which is pretty cool...UNLESS you over-think things, like me. Anyway, I'm there and I've still, apparently, got a LOT of work to do on it, however, its "open for business!"
If you're a Drag Queen (or King - don't want to leave the guys out) or a Nightclub, just look for me at:Karla's MySpace Page! Drop me a note (over there OR here) about your upcoming shows (photos are welcome) or pageant information.
Oh, yes, this old Queen even has put up a couple of CURRENT photos. I'll probably add some more. No, I'm not young and agile, anymore, and I retired from performing a LONG time ago. But, as you know, my website, HERE, is just a way to payback a community that was so good to me over the years!

This weekend at Ibiza's in Wilmington
Tonight at Ibiza's, check out the area's "Hottest Music and Light Show” with DJ: Foxxy. Sunday Night its “IBIZA Idol,” hosted by Alena DeJah. Showtime is at 11PM. Ibiza's is located at 118 Market Street in Wilmington, NC. The club is open Thursday through Sunday from 8PM to 3AM

The Divas of the Majestic Show
Coming up Friday, January 9th, its "The Divas of the Majestic Show" at the Majestic Theater in downtown Detroit, Michigan. This fantastic show features Deangela Show Shannon, Electra Lites, Hershae Chocolatae, Gayla Grace, Smyra Skye Banks, Misty Harrington, Tianna Rumbous, and Ce Ce Daniels. Its a is a first-time-ever happening and tickets are available at Ticketmaster!

2009 Ball Drop?
I hope everyone had a Happy New Year! I sure did, but was a little disappointed when it came time to watch the annual "ball drop" in Times Square.
You know, the ball usually drops during the countdown, right? Well, this year they unveiled a new ball, with all sorts of cool l-e-d's, that was "supposed" to do some pretty fancy stuff on the way down.
Was --->I<--- the only one to notice that noticed the ball DIDN'T drop? As a matter of fact, the silly thing when "dark" when the button was pushed, as the countdown started!
I haven't seen anyone mention it, so i figured I'd point it out. I guess someone "didn't drop the ball" on this one, LOL!
